The Productivity and Slurry element of Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2023 is now open, but applications must be submitted by Tuesday 4 April.
The grant encompasses funding towards a variety of items that can increase productivity on a farm. These include (but not limited to):
- Heat exchangers for parlours
- Heat detection collars or pedometers
- Dribble bars
- Direct drills
- Liquid fertiliser spreaders
Grants are for £1,000 to £25,000, and given as a set amount.
There is also a second Animal Welfare strand coming along in March. This includes new additional items such as:
- Cubicle mattresses
- Calf coats
- Calf enrichment aids
It also covers popular items such as:
- Cattle handling
- Crushes
- Automatic footbaths
You can apply for a further £25,000 of grant aid on these items.
