The deadline for requesting Countryside Stewardship Pack online is  due to close on Tuesday 30 June.

Applications for Mid Tier opened on 11 February and is due to close on 31 July 2020. However, the ability to download an application pack was extended to 30th June 2020 from the RPA’s online platform.

Mid Tier offers options, supplements and capital items to achieve simple and effective environmental benefits. There are no Mid Tier grants for woodland or educational access.

Capital items for  improving water quality  are also available through Mid Tier.

The scheme is competitive with each application being assessed on its own merits, so for those wishing to submit an application it is strongly recommended that they seek specialist advice from organisations who are familiar with the application process and options in order that a comprehensive proposal is put forward that meets both the farmers and regional requirements.

More information on the Mid Tier Scheme can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/countryside-stewardship-get-paid-for-environmental-land-management#mid-tier
