The Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) opens on 12 March, and runs until 15 May 2020 without penalty or by midnight on 9 June (with late application penalties applying).
The Basic Payment Scheme (BPS), including greening and the young farmer payment, will continue for 2020 with available funding the same as for 2019.
BPS will continue to be run by the Rural Payments Agency (RPA). BPS payments will only be made in sterling this year, so those who received payments in Euros will need to notify the RPA of any change of bank details.
Entitlements values and greening rates will be confirmed in the Autumn.
